With the wonderful support of our sellaband supporters, Jane Blue and the Hunters hit the studio last fall/winter (2012).

Dutch Multi instrumentalists Jacek Koba (Mytron), Laurens van der Meulen (Wolkenkrabbers, Hilbrandt Mill), London based musician/producer Max Jones and
sound engineer Milan Ciric (sing-sing studio’s), made their extraordinary contribution to this – yet to be released – record.

The result of their joint efforts is a beautiful collection of Jane’s melancholic, poetic songs. Mostly inspired by the wilderness of her home on the Scottish west coast. Finding roots in a cinematic, ambient world of sound and music.

Their unconventional approach to song structuring and recording, resulted in a very unusual, contemporary sound.

Jane Blue states: “I feel my songs have finally found their place in this dramatic musical landscape created by these musicians. It was an amazing process, and I can’t wait to release this record, and make many more!”

Due to the many changes Lolly Jane Blue has gone through since we started out in 2007, we felt the need to adjust our name to our matured identity.
Lolly Jane Blue becomes Jane Blue & The Hunters.
